How to Craft a Crafter in Minecraft
To craft a crafter in Minecraft you need five iron ingots, one Crafting Table, two redstone dust and one dropper. On the Crafting Table put iron around the table, redstone in the bottom corners and the dropper in the bottom-middle. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

Mine iron ore with a stone pickaxe or better and smelt five ingots. Four planks in the inventory 2×2 make the Crafting Table. Redstone ore needs an iron pickaxe; two dust cover the bottom corners. The dropper is seven cobblestone with an empty center and redstone in the bottom-middle. One of each block plus the five ingots covers this craft.

Open a Crafting Table. Three iron on the top row. Iron, Crafting Table, iron in the middle. Redstone, dropper, redstone on the bottom. One crafter appears on the right; take it.
Pulse, then it crafts
Place it with the face toward the chest or hopper that should catch the result. Open the 3×3, load the recipe, and click empty squares to lock them so hoppers skip those holes. A redstone pulse crafts one item and ejects it from the face. A hopper underneath pulls leftover ingredients, not the finished item. Mine it with a pickaxe to pick it up.
