How to Craft a Flower Pot in Minecraft
To craft a flower pot in Minecraft you need three bricks. On the Crafting Table put a brick on the left and right of the middle row and one brick in the bottom-middle, under the hole — a V — and one pot comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those bricks come from.

How to craft these materials
Brick
1 Clay Ball
BrickThree bricks from clay
Look for gray clay in a shallow river, a swamp or a lush cave. Break the block with a shovel: four clay balls drop. Open a furnace, clay ball on top, fuel underneath. Each ball comes out as one brick. Three bricks cover this craft; the fourth waits for later.
A V on the table
Open the Crafting Table. On the middle row put a brick on the left and a brick on the right, with the center empty. Drop the third brick in the bottom-middle square, under that hole. One flower pot appears on the right; take it. This V needs the 3×3 table.
A plant on the rim
Place the pot on a block and use a flower, a sapling, a cactus or a mushroom on it. The plant sits in the rim. Use the pot again with an empty hand to take the plant back. Break the pot with your hand and both items drop.
