How to Craft a Glass Pane in Minecraft
To craft a glass pane in Minecraft you need six glass blocks. On the Crafting Table fill two full rows of three — sixteen panes come out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where that glass comes from.

How to craft these materials
Six glass from sand
Dig sand with a shovel on a beach or in a desert, then smelt it in a furnace: sand on top, fuel underneath. One sand is one glass. You need six for this craft — that furnace step already has its own page.
Two rows of three
Open the Crafting Table. Fill the top row and the middle row with glass, and leave the bottom empty. Sixteen glass panes appear on the right; take them. You can slide those two full rows down so the bottom of the grid is packed instead.
Thin windows
Place a pane in a wall opening; it connects to the next pane and to solid blocks beside it. Light passes through. Break it without Silk Touch and it drops nothing — smelt another six sand. Village houses already use these as windows.
