How to Craft Glowstone in Minecraft

Four glowstone dust
Break glowstone on Nether ceilings. The block drops dust; gather four. A witch can drop dust as well. Silk Touch on the pickaxe keeps the block itself, and you can skip this craft if that is how you mined it.
Fill the 2×2
Open the inventory. Put one glowstone dust in each of the four crafting squares. One glowstone block appears on the right; take it. The same four dust work on a Crafting Table if that is already open.
Light 15, even in water
Place the block. It shines at light 15, the same as a lantern, and it keeps that light underwater. Four glowstone plus one redstone dust make a redstone lamp. A pickaxe breaks it back into dust unless you use Silk Touch.
