How to Craft a Lever in Minecraft
To craft a lever in Minecraft you need one stick and one cobblestone. Stack the stick on top of the cobble in the inventory 2×2. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

How to craft these materials
Stick on cobblestone
Two planks stacked make four sticks; take one. Mine stone with any pickaxe — it drops cobblestone. One of each is enough.
Stack them in the 2×2
Open the inventory. Put the stick in a square and the cobblestone directly under it. One lever appears on the right; take it. The same pair works on a Crafting Table if that is already open.
Flip it when you want
Place the lever on the top, side or underside of a solid block. Use it to turn the circuit on; it stays on until you click it again. Punch it with your hand to pick it back up. Three also generate in each jungle temple.
