How to Craft a Blast Furnace in Minecraft
To craft a blast furnace in Minecraft you need five iron ingots, one furnace, and three smooth stone. On the Crafting Table wrap iron around a furnace and line the bottom with smooth stone, and one blast furnace comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

Iron Ingot
1 Raw Iron
Iron IngotFive ingots, a furnace, three smooth stone
Mine iron ore with a stone pickaxe or better and smelt five ingots. Craft a furnace first if you still lack one. Smooth stone is stone run through that furnace a second time; you need three.
Iron around the furnace
Open the Crafting Table. Top row: three iron. Middle: iron, furnace, iron. Bottom: three smooth stone. One blast furnace appears on the right; take it. The inventory 2×2 cannot hold this 3×3.
Ore twice as fast
Place it like a furnace. It smelts ore, iron, gold, and metal armor or tools in half the time, and it burns twice the fuel for that speed. Food and logs stay in the regular furnace. Armorers in villages already keep one. A pickaxe breaks the block.
