How to Craft a Conduit in Minecraft
To craft a conduit in Minecraft you need eight nautilus shells and one heart of the sea. On the Crafting Table put the heart in the center and fill every other square with a shell, and one conduit comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

Eight shells, one heart
Drowned sometimes drop a nautilus shell; ocean ruins and shipwrecks also hold them. The heart of the sea sits in a buried treasure chest, the one the buried treasure map points to. Eight shells and one heart cover the craft.
Heart in the center
Open the Crafting Table. Put the heart of the sea in the very center square. Fill the other eight squares with nautilus shells. One conduit appears on the right; take it. This ring needs the 3×3 table.
Power in a prismarine frame
Place it underwater inside a frame of prismarine, dark prismarine or sea lanterns. When enough blocks close the frame, the conduit opens and nearby players breathe and mine faster in water. A sea lantern in that frame also lights the monument. A beacon still handles the land; this one is for the ocean.
