How to Craft a Sea Lantern in Minecraft
To craft a sea lantern in Minecraft you need four prismarine shards and five prismarine crystals. On the Crafting Table put shards in the four corners and crystals in a plus through the center, and one sea lantern comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

Four shards, five crystals
Guardians around an ocean monument drop both pieces. Elder guardians drop them too. Prismarine shards also come from breaking monument blocks. You need four shards and five crystals for one lantern.
Shards in the corners
Open the Crafting Table. Top: shard, crystal, shard. Middle: three crystals. Bottom: shard, crystal, shard. One sea lantern appears on the right; take it. The 2×2 inventory cannot hold this 3×3.
Light 15 underwater
Place it. The block shines at light 15 and keeps that light in water, the same ceiling as a lantern or glowstone. A silk-touch pickaxe picks the lantern back up; without Silk Touch it drops crystals. Sea lanterns stack to sixty-four.
