How to Craft a Loom in Minecraft
To craft a loom in Minecraft you need two string and two wooden planks. Stack the two string on top of the two planks in the inventory 2×2, and one loom comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

How to craft these materials
Wooden Planks
Oak LogWooden Planks ×4Shapeless: the slots can sit anywhere on the grid.
Two string, two planks
Spiders drop string; two strands cover the top row. Punch a log and convert it in the 2×2: two matching planks sit under the string. Oak works if that is the wood you already have.
String over planks
Open the inventory. Top row of the 2×2: two string. Bottom row: two planks. One loom appears on the right; take it. The same square works on a Crafting Table.
Stamp a banner
Place the loom and open it. Put a banner in the banner slot, a dye in the dye slot, and a pattern item if you have one. The preview on the right is the stamp; take the banner. Shepherds in villages already keep a loom as a job site. An axe breaks it.
