How to Craft a Cauldron in Minecraft

To craft a cauldron in Minecraft you need seven iron ingots. On the Crafting Table put iron on both sides of the top two rows and three iron across the bottom — a U — and one cauldron comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where that iron comes from.

Seven iron ingots

Mine iron ore with a stone pickaxe or better, then smelt it in a furnace. Seven ingots fill this U. Raw iron in the top slot, fuel underneath — one ore is one ingot.

A U on the table

Open the Crafting Table. Iron in the left and right squares of the top row, the same on the middle row, and three iron across the bottom. Leave the two center squares empty. One cauldron appears on the right; take it. This U needs the 3×3 table.

Water in the pot

Place it on a block and use a water bucket on it. The pot holds three bottle-fills. Rain tops it up if it sits in the open. One empty cauldron sits in every swamp witch hut. Mine it with a pickaxe to pick it back up.
