How to Craft Chiseled Stone Bricks in Minecraft

Two stone brick slabs
Craft stone bricks first: four stone in a square. Three stone bricks in a row on the Crafting Table make six slabs; keep two. A stonecutter also cuts one stone brick into one slab.
One slab on the other
Open the inventory 2×2. Put a stone brick slab in the top-left and another directly under it. One chiseled stone brick appears on the right; take it. The same stack works on the 3×3 table.
The stronghold face
Place it in a wall. Stronghold libraries already show this carved face. One stone brick in the stonecutter also cuts straight into one chiseled block if you would rather skip the slabs. A pickaxe picks it back up.
