How to Craft a Decorated Pot in Minecraft
To craft a decorated pot in Minecraft you need four bricks. On the Crafting Table put them in a plus: top, bottom, left and right, and leave the center empty. One pot comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those bricks come from.

How to craft these materials
Brick
1 Clay Ball
BrickFour bricks in a plus
Smelt clay balls in a furnace for bricks. Four bricks cover this craft. The same brick also makes a flower pot and, four in a square, a bricks block. Pottery sherds from trail ruins can sit in those four squares instead of bricks if you want a pattern on the sides.
Top, sides, bottom
Open the Crafting Table. Top-middle: a brick. Middle-left and middle-right: a brick each. Bottom-middle: a brick. Leave the center and the four corners empty. One decorated pot appears on the right; take it. This plus needs the 3×3 table.
A jar that holds a stack
Place it. Use an item on the pot and the pot holds that stack. Break it and the bricks, or the sherds you used, drop again. A pickaxe is not required; your hand is enough.
