How to Craft a Golden Apple in Minecraft
To craft a golden apple in Minecraft you need eight gold ingots and one apple. On the Crafting Table put the apple in the center and fill every other square with an ingot, and one golden apple comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

Eight gold ingots around an apple
Apples drop when you break oak or dark oak leaves, or sit in village chests. Mine gold ore with an iron pickaxe or better, then smelt the raw gold in a furnace until eight ingots come out. Nine nuggets from zombified piglins also make one ingot.
Apple in the center
Open the Crafting Table. Put the apple in the very center square. Fill the other eight squares with gold ingots. One golden apple appears on the right; take it. This ring needs the 3×3 table.
Absorption after a hard fight
Eat it. You get four hunger back, plus absorption hearts and a short regeneration. Keep one for a raid, a wither, or a fall you did not plan. A clock uses four of the same ingots around redstone if you still have gold in the chest. The enchanted apple still comes from dungeon and bastion chests.
