How to Craft Tinted Glass in Minecraft
To craft tinted glass in Minecraft you need four amethyst shards and one glass. On the Crafting Table put the glass in the center and a shard above, below, left, and right of it, and two tinted glass blocks come out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

How to craft these materials
Four shards, one glass
Smelt sand in a furnace for a glass block. Amethyst shards drop from budding amethyst in geodes when the cluster grows. A spyglass also wants one shard; keep four for this plus.
Shards in a plus
Open the Crafting Table. Glass in the center. Amethyst shard in the top-middle, bottom-middle, middle-left, and middle-right. Leave the four corners empty. Two tinted glass blocks appear on the right; take them. This plus needs the 3×3 table.
Light stays out
Place it like glass. Light does not pass through, so a beacon beam stops and a monster farm stays dark on the other side. Unlike glass, tinted glass drops itself when you break it, so you do not need Silk Touch. A pickaxe is not required.
