How to Craft a Fire Charge in Minecraft
To craft a fire charge in Minecraft you need one gunpowder, one blaze powder, and one coal. Drop the three in any squares of the inventory 2×2, and three fire charges come out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

Gunpowder, blaze powder, coal
Creepers drop gunpowder. Blazes in a Nether fortress drop blaze rods; one rod in the inventory 2×2 becomes two blaze powder, and you keep one. Mine coal ore with a wooden pickaxe, or smelt a log into charcoal; that lump fills the coal square the same way.
Any three squares
Open the inventory 2×2 or a Crafting Table. Put gunpowder, blaze powder, and coal in three different squares; the shape does not matter. Three fire charges appear on the right; take them.
Light a block, or load a dispenser
Use a charge on a flammable block the way you use flint and steel; the charge is spent. Load one in a dispenser and a pulse shoots a small fireball. Keep a stack if you are lighting a lot of netherrack.
