How to Craft a Minecart in Minecraft
To craft a minecart in Minecraft you need five iron ingots. On the Crafting Table put iron on both sides of the middle row and three across the bottom, and one minecart comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

Raw Iron

Iron Ingot

Mine iron ore with a stone pickaxe or better, then smelt five ores in a furnace. Zombies and iron golems can drop an ingot too. Five bars cover the whole cart.
Middle sides, full bottom
Open the Crafting Table. Drop an ingot in the middle-left square, one in the middle-right, then three in a row along the bottom. One minecart appears on the right; take it. That U can sit one row higher and still craft.
On the rails
Place the cart on a rail. Use it to climb in. On flat ground, give it a shove or hold forward; downhill it rolls on its own. Sneak to climb out. Hit the cart to pick it back up. Minecarts do not stack.
