How to Craft Nether Bricks in Minecraft
To craft nether bricks in Minecraft you need four nether brick items. Put those four in a 2×2 square on the Crafting Table or in the inventory, and one nether bricks block comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those bricks come from.

Four nether brick items
Mine netherrack in the Nether with any pickaxe. Smelt four netherrack in a furnace; each one becomes one nether brick item. Overworld bricks use clay instead; this batch stays netherrack.
A 2×2 of nether brick
Open the inventory 2×2 or the Crafting Table. Put a nether brick item in all four squares of a 2×2. One nether bricks block appears on the right; take it. You do not need a second furnace for this step.
Fortress walls at home
Place them like stone bricks. A wooden pickaxe or better breaks the block and it drops as nether bricks. Nether fortresses are already built from this block if you want more without smelting.
