How to Craft Wolf Armor in Minecraft
To craft wolf armor in Minecraft you need six armadillo scutes. On the Crafting Table put one scute on top, three across the middle, and two in the bottom corners, and one piece of armor comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those scutes come from.

Six armadillo scutes
Armadillos spawn in savannas. Use a brush on an adult armadillo and it drops a scute; wait for the cooldown and brush again. Killing the mob does not give scutes. Six pieces cover one craft.
A body with empty armpits
Open the Crafting Table. Top-middle: one scute. Middle row: three scutes. Bottom row: scute, empty, scute. Leave the top corners empty. One wolf armor appears on the right; take it. This shape needs the 3×3 table.
On a tamed wolf
Tame a wolf with bones, then use the armor on it. Hits land on the scute first. Use shears on the wolf to take the armor back. A lead still ties the wolf while the armor is on.
