How to Craft a Lodestone in Minecraft
To craft a lodestone in Minecraft you need eight chiseled stone bricks and one iron ingot. On the Crafting Table put the ingot in the center and fill every other square with a chiseled brick, and one lodestone comes out. Below are the items, the recipe, and where those pieces come from.

Stack two stone brick slabs for chiseled stone bricks, or cut a stone brick in the stonecutter; you need eight. Mine iron ore with a stone pickaxe and smelt the raw iron in a furnace for one ingot.
Iron in the center
Open the Crafting Table. Put the iron ingot in the very center square. Fill the other eight squares with chiseled stone bricks. One lodestone appears on the right; take it. This ring needs the 3×3 table.
Lock a compass to this block
Place the lodestone, then use a compass on it. That compass now points at this block, even in the Nether or the End. Break the lodestone with a pickaxe and the compass spins again. An anvil can name the compass so you remember which stone it follows.
